Hoe dit zich zal ontwikkelen en wat voor impact het daadwerkelijk zal hebben, moet in de toekomst blijken. Hoogerwerf geeft aan dat er hoe dan ook veel ontwikkelingen gaande zijn die een plek zullen krijgen in de maatschappij. Dit moeten we sector overschrijdend en interdisciplinair oppakken. Bij deze integrale aanpak is het van belang om een open blik op onverwachteontwikkelingen te houden.
Uit het onderzoek is gebleken dat er maatschappelijk gezien een grote voordeel valt te behalen met autonome voertuigen. Voor Smart Mobility betekent dit, dat u de genoemde stakeholders actief dient te bezoeken om zo de expertise te bundelen. Er heerst veel kennis bij verschillende partijen door deze kennis te delen, kan de implementatie van autonome voertuig in goede banen geleid worden.
