This report represents the views of the members of the C-ITS Platform on the subject matter. It concerns developed policy recommendations and proposals for action for both the Commission but also for other relevant actors along the C-ITS value chain, with issues related to the following aspects: the common technical framework necessary for the deployment of C-ITS, the legal questions related to C-ITS, the "legitimacy" of the deployment of C-ITS, i.e. the fact that the deployment of C-ITS can be justified and fostered at all levels, and international cooperation.
